EMBROIDERY & SCREEN PRINTING NETWORK'S talented ART DEPARTMENT can create artwork for all types of applications. In those cases where artwork is not available to the customer or is not in a suitable format, EMBROIDERY & SCREEN PRINTING NETWORK will do the necessary design work. The ART CHARGE is function of the complexity of the design and the amount of time required to create the artwork that is required. See the ART CHARGES section for general information.
DIFFERENCES IN DOING ARTWORK FOR SCREEN PRINTING VS. EMBROIDERY
When creating artwork the challenge differs slightly when doing it for screen printing or ASI orders as compared to embroidery.
SCREEN PRINTING / ASI:
EMBROIDERY & SCREEN PRINTNG NETWORK has easy access to or in its file system thousands of pieces of artwork that can meet most screen printing/ASI applications. In addition, our skilled staff has the ability and creativity to design using many different effects and layout schemes. We have access to thousands of different font styles. The ART DEPARTMENT has created designs either using spot color or simulated process. EXAMPLES of only a few of these are available for view on this website. At this time 4 color process is an option that we recommend discussing with our staff before placing the order to see whether it is the best possible method.
EMBROIDERY:
With embroidery, because of the nature of the process and other factors, the design capabilities are more limited. Many of the effects that are possible in screen printing are not possible with embroidery. While many fonts are available, there are not as many as with screen printing. Contact CUSTOMER SERVICE for a list of available fonts. Because the COST TO DIGITIZE & DESIGN designs can be costly there are many designs and logos that are called stock designs. EMBROIDERY & SCREEN PRINTING NETWORK has in-house many stock designs for most applications. For embroidery applications that require designs other than those that are available from our stock designs, there are a couple of services where designs can be ordered at very reasonable rates. Whether EMBROIDERY & SCREEN PRINTING NETWORK'S ART DEPARTMENT will be creating a design for screen printing, ASI or embroidery it is imperative that the customer supply detailed specifics of what the design should be.
DETAILED SPECIFICS OF THE DESIGN INCLUDE:
- a description of the image
- the # of colors in the design
- the image size, any lettering
- the font style of choice
Communicating this information can be done via E-MAIL or IN PERSON. Once our ART DEPARTMENT has a clear vision of the design requirements, an estimation of art charges can be given as part of the QUOTATION. Only when an order is placed will any design of the artwork take place.
